In "Family Christian " Laurent Wauquiez made curious statements blowing hot and cold, he goes on to say in answer to a question about the charges against Algerian citizens in Algeria for not observing Ramadan:
" Religious freedom is the freedom of not having a religion is also freedom not to be forced to follow the precepts of a religion that n is not his. That's why I am embarrassed by these facts. That said, I think it belongs to all of us to respect the religion of others by avoiding certain behaviors deemed offensive or inappropriate. So when my wife and I went to a mosque in Egypt, we made sure to be dressed modestly. Dialogue to promote religious diversity can be part of a claim pure and simple. Tolerance is understanding that eating ostensibly Muslim country in the very fast of Ramadan, you hit the deep sensitivity of the faithful. "
If for him, eating in public (and even in private, as some have been prosecuted for eating in private!) is a "deemed offensive behavior" for him and if we can be sued for not following the requirements of his own religion. We can only note that Wauquiez is an enemy of freedom of conscience and religion out of ignorance of the value of these concepts.
He describes the religious freedom while the tolerance of religious freedom is not tolerance, but a fundamental human right, the right pivot of human rights the right foundation of all other rights, which are needed regardless of the majorities.
Mr. Wauquiez proves he speaks of things he does not understand. It unduly expands the respect due to every believer in his beliefs (which excludes mockery and sarcasm) to determine the normal ban on eating and drinking in public at an outdoor restaurant or cafe, or for construction workers on a construction site.
Such confusion of mind makes it very difficult struggle for a rational order in space public and, incidentally, is puzzling on the value of these schools so renowned (Mr. Wauquiez is first released from ENA (!).
Doubtless he did not even read the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights", in any case he did not understand. In Article 30 it says that no human right can be invoked to violate another.
